Crop Pricing

The sell price of a crop uses the following formula:

Price = ⌊ SellValue × SizeExponent × SizeMultiplier × MutationMultiplier × DecayPenalty × FriendsBonus ⌋
  • SellValue: A fixed base number unique to each crop type.
  • Size: The size multiplier of the fully grown fruit. Weight (kg) = BaseWeight × Size.
  • Exponent: 2.65 by default. Overridden for Mushroom (1.9) and Bamboo (1.75) — these crops scale less dramatically at large sizes.
  • MutationMultiplier: The price multiplier from the fruit's mutation (1 if no mutation). Single-harvest crops have a reduced effective multiplier: 1 + (raw − 1) × 0.25
  • DecayPenalty: 1 − clamp(decayFraction, 0, 1) × 0.8 — decayed crops lose up to 80% of value.
  • FriendsBonus: 1 + Friends × 0.1 — each friend in the same server adds +10%, up to +40%.

⚠️ The Value Calculator uses a simplified estimation. Actual in-game values may differ based on exact Size and BaseWeight per crop.

Fruit Decay

Crops left unharvested on the plot will decay over time, losing 80% of their sell value. Decayed crops also change color as a visual indicator.

  • Sell crops promptly — especially high-value mutated fruit — to avoid value loss.
  • Watering a decayed crop will restore its value, color, and all connected fruit.
  • Fruit in your inventory does not decay; decay only occurs to world-placed crops.
