🐾 Pets

Overview

Pets are loyal companions in Grow A Garden 2 that follow the player around and provide passive bonuses and perks to assist with gardening and progression. Each pet has a unique ability ranging from boosting grow speed to defending the garden from intruders.

Obtainment

Pets can be obtained through the following methods:

• Map Spawns — Pets randomly appear around the map with a countdown timer. Purchase them with Sheckles before the timer expires or they disappear.
• Eggs — Some pets can be hatched from eggs.
• Robux — Certain pets may be purchased directly with Robux.
• Trading — Pets can be traded between players.

Pet Variants

Pets can appear in special variants that modify their size, appearance, and ability strength. Variants can be hatched from Eggs or found on map-spawned pets.

Normal	Standard size and ability values. Baseline for all pets.	Default
Big	Noticeably larger than normal. Ability stat doubled (e.g. +5 speed becomes +10 speed). Can be hatched from Eggs or found as a wild spawn mutation.	Very Rare — ~112,000 owners
Mega	Significantly larger than Big. The single rarest pet mutation in the game. Previously called “Huge”. No confirmed in-game screenshots as of June 2026.	Extremely Rare — ~750 owners
Rainbow	A visual variant tier that significantly improves the overall stats of the pet’s base ability. Hatched from Eggs.	Very Rare
