Overview

The Gold mutation is a Variant mutation in Grow A Garden 2. It acts as a 15x value multiplier before other mutations stack.

Obtainment

Gold is obtained through the Midas event. A Gold Seed can spawn during the event; picking it up makes the player Midas, and stolen fruit picked up from other players turns Gold.

Effect

Gold crops have a 15x value multiplier. This acts as a variant layer before additive mutation stacking in the calculator.

Availability

Gold is marked as Release testing. The mutation is currently available but the source may rotate or change in future updates.

Notes

• Mutation stacking follows the calculator model: variant multiplier × additive mutation stack.
• Gold is a variant mutation, meaning it serves as the base layer for value multiplication.
• When you become Midas, stolen fruit from other players will turn Gold automatically.
