Overview
The Blood Moon is a rare night-only weather event. The sky turns deep red, a blood-red moon rises, and laser beams strike the ground. During a Blood Moon, crops have a chance to gain the Bloodlit mutation — the highest-value weather mutation in the game at 60×.
Blood Moon occurs with a 2% chance when Night begins, making it the rarest moon event.

Tips
- At 60×, Bloodlit is the highest confirmed mutation multiplier in the game. Any Blood Moon crop is extremely valuable.
- Blood Moon only has a 2% spawn chance — don't log off at night or you'll likely miss it.
- Stealing is active during Blood Moon. Defend your garden with Gears like Gnomes or Flashbangs if you have valuable crops out.
- The Bloodlit mutation applies to crops on your plot — harvest immediately after Blood Moon ends to secure the value before decay sets in.
