The Gold Seed is a Legendary special seed in Grow A Garden 2. When planted, it grows into a random crop but guarantees the Gold mutation, multiplying its sell value by 15x.

The Gold Seed appears as a golden, glowing seed with a metallic sheen. It radiates a warm, golden light that distinguishes it from regular seeds.

Obtainment

Gold Seeds can be obtained through:

• Midas Moon Event: Rare weather event where a Gold Seed can spawn
• Seed Packs: Low chance from premium packs
• Events: Special in-game events and promotions

How It Works

• Plant the Gold Seed in any available plot
• The seed will randomly select any crop type to grow
• When fully grown, the crop is automatically Gold variant (15x value)
• Can be combined with weather mutations (Frozen/Electric) for even higher value

Strategy Tips

• Wait for weather: Plant during Snowfall or Lightning for multi-mutation stacking
• Friend boost: Have friends nearby when harvesting for extra value
