The Rainbow Seed is a Mythic special seed in Grow A Garden 2. When planted, it grows into a random crop but guarantees the Rainbow mutation, multiplying its sell value by 40x.
Appearance
The Rainbow Seed shimmers with all colors of the spectrum, constantly shifting and glowing with prismatic light. It's one of the most visually striking items in the game.
Obtainment
Rainbow Seeds can be obtained through:
- Seed Packs: Very low chance from premium packs and event packs
- Special Events: Limited-time events and promotions
- Achievements: Rare reward for completing special challenges
How It Works
- Plant the Rainbow Seed in any available plot
- The seed randomly selects any crop type to grow
- When fully grown, the crop is automatically Rainbow variant (40x value)
- Can be combined with weather mutations (Frozen/Electric) for extreme value
Strategy Tips
- Highest value: 40x multiplier is the highest variant mutation - use wisely!
- Weather stacking: Combine with Electric mutation (80x) during storms for maximum profit
- Save for rare crops: The random outcome means you could get any crop - hope for Mythic/Super!
